Inspiratia ranks WFW as leading European advisor in infrastructure sector for Q2, fifth globally

5 August 2015

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has been ranked the leading law firm in the European infrastructure sector in Inspiratia’s Legal Advisor Rankings for Q2 2015, and the fifth most prolific advisor in the infrastructure sector globally, both by deal value.

The firm’s Energy & Infrastructure practice’s work in Q2 is headlined by the €1.274 billion financing of the ‘Veja Mate’ offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. WFW advised a consortium of international banks on the deal led by Hamburg partners Dr. Malte Jordan and Sven Fretthold.

Along with being ranked fifth globally for the value of its infrastructure work in Q2, WFW is also ranked fifth in Inspiratia’s European rankings for legal advisors from Q3 2014 through to Q2 2015. In addition to highlighting the firm’s position amongst the leading law firms in the sector, it also points to the consistency of the team’s workflow.
