Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”) a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has advised gold exploration and production company Silver Lake Resources Limited on a private placement of 20.6 million ordinary shares.
The shares were placed in multiple jurisdictions, including the United States and Australia, in order to raise AU$70 million to develop Silver Lake Resources’ Murchison gold project in Australia, and accelerate copper exploration.
Antonios Backos, partner at WFW New York, and Steven Hollander, senior associate at WFW New York, led the US aspects of the transaction. Jan Mellmann, head of the WFW Natural Resources Group, and Damian Adams, partner at WFW Singapore, led the UK and Singapore aspects of the transaction, respectively. Casimir Capital acted as sole book runner and global lead manager, and Perth broker Hartleys acted as joint lead manager. Gilbert + Tobin represented Silver Lake Resources on the Australian aspects of the transaction.
