WFW announces six new partner promotions for 20178 May 2017

International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has promoted six senior associates to the firm’s partnership in the 2017 round of promotions, bringing the firm’s total number of partners to 150. They are:

Eckrolf Berg – Real Estate Group, Hamburg

Eckrolf specialises in property, construction, commercial tenancy and brokerage law. He advises German and international investors on the full spectrum of property transactions, including project developments and M&A.

Dr Wolfram Böge – Corporate Energy & Infrastructure Group, Hamburg

Wolfram specialises in national and international M&A transactions, joint ventures and project development, with a focus on project and corporate law advice in connection with finance transactions.

Rod Chooramun – Energy & Infrastructure Group, London

Rod focusses on advising clients on UK and cross-border M&A, joint ventures and project development transactions in the oil and gas sector. He has extensive in-house oil and gas experience having previously worked at BG Group (now part of Shell) and at Sumitomo Corporation in Tokyo. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Rod also worked as an exploration geologist for an international mining company and is currently a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.

Daniel Saunders – Corporate Group, London

Daniel focusses primarily on the shipping and oil and gas sectors, with a particular focus on M&A, private equity and commercial contracts. He also advises major shipping financiers in relation to finance lease structures and financial and corporate restructurings.

Nick Walker – Energy & Infrastructure Group, London

Nick specialises in planning, environmental and health and safety law. He acts for clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions, particularly the energy and infrastructure and real estate sectors.

Rebecca Williams – Dispute Resolution Group, London

Rebecca has extensive experience in all major forms of dispute resolution in the construction, engineering, petrochemical and energy sectors including litigation, arbitration (both international and domestic), adjudication and mediation.
