WFW Italy Senior Associate Michele Autuori recently addressed the exclusive Shipping and the Law 2016 conference held in Naples on 25/26 October. The event was organised by Studio Legale Lauro, a leading Neapolitan law firm widely respected for its maritime and shipping expertise, and focused on recent developments in the maritime sector in Italy and beyond.
Michele spoke on “Legal issues concerning Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and Credit Disposals” as part of the Ship Finance panel at the two days conference.
Since the inaugural conference in 2010, Shipping and the Law has quickly become a key annual event for the Italian maritime industry, bringing together shipowners, charterers, bankers, underwriters and P&I club managers, as well as leading maritime lawyers and arbitrators and politicians from Italy, Europe and the rest of the world.
The event, of which WFW is proud to be a sponsor, was also attended by WFW Partner and Head of the Italian asset finance group Furio Samela and Associates Emanuele Caretti, Antonella Barbarito and Beatrice D’Amato.
