Watson, Farley & Williams (“WFW”), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that Madrid partner María Pilar García Guijarro has won one of the illustrious 40 under 40 awards by Iberian Lawyer at a ceremony at the Museo del Traje, Madrid.
Held every two years, Iberian Lawyer’s 40 under Forty Awards honour the leading 40 lawyers across Spain and Portugal under the age of 40.
The winners, which include lawyers from within the major businesses and law firms, were selected by an independent and diverse jury made up of leading personalities in the legal market and General Counsel from companies including Banco Santander, Pepsico and Vodafone Spain.
Head of Madrid office, Maria Pilar covers all aspects of corporate and finance transactions, including M&A, private equity and structured finance and is focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors, particularly renewables, LNG and power. María Pilar also devotes some time to dispute resolution within those sectors.
