Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) Paris partner, Laurent Battoue, assisted by associates Julie de Bréon and Audrey Bertrand, has written an article in conjunction with the Office Franco-Allemand pour les énergies renouvelables (Franco-German Renewable Energy association).

The article gives an overview of the main legal challenges with which companies planning to set up onshore wind farms in France might be confronted and which could be brought under regional planning rules or by third parties opposed to this type of project.

The article can be downloaded in French or German from the site of the Office Franco-Allemand pour les énergies renouvelables.
