Summary Open

Lindsey Keeble joined Watson Farley & Williams in 1999 and is now Global Maritime Sector Head and a partner in the Asset Finance Group in London. She specialises in structured ship and asset finance and leasing transactions. Lindsey’s practice focusses on shipping finance matters involving export credit backed products and project financing transactions across a variety of maritime and offshore assets. Lindsey spent four years in our Paris office where she led the English law finance practice.

Experience Open

    • Advising MSC Crociere on the financing of its innovative modernisation of four cruise ships involving the addition of a new pre-built mid-section in dry dock at Fincantieri in Sicily.
    • Acting for Citibank, N.A. and the other mandated lead arrangers on the $574m financing of a semi-submersible mid-water drilling rig for Stena AB, such financing benefiting from ECA support from K-sure, KEXIM and GIEK.
    • Advising BNP Paribas, the lenders and the export credit agencies on the $455m debt and charter restructuring arrangements in relation to 3 x 10,062 and 2 x 8,440 TEU containerships chartered to Zim.
    • Advising CACIB, KfW IPEX, Societe Generale and HSBC on the SACE supported financing of a 738 passenger luxury cruise ship for Regent Seven Seas.
    • Assisting a major bank with the internal reorganisation of its shipping loan portfolios, including transferring part of the portfolio to another legal entity within the group and transferring parts of the portfolios and account management to other branches of the bank.
    • Advising the lenders in connection with the implementation of the restructuring of the loan facilities made available to the Italian tanker company Navigazione Montanari S.p.A. under article 67 of the Italian bankruptcy law.
