Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that three deals it advised on won awards at inspiratia’s Energy Transition Awards 2024.
The inspiratia Energy Transition Awards showcase the leading individuals and institutions propelling the energy transition forward with the most noteworthy transactions.
The award-winning deals include:
- Outstanding Solar Deal – Grupo Cobra – advising banks on a €700m greenfield project financing for the construction, development and operation of a 1,231 MWp photovoltaic portfolio, led by Madrid Partner Rodrigo Berasategui;
- Outstanding Onshore Deal – Pagegiai Wind Farm – advising lenders on a €330m ECA-backed Baltic wind farm financing, led by Hamburg Partner Thomas Hollenhorst; and
- Outstanding Greenfield Portfolio Acquisition – RWE acquisition of Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone – advising on the sale of Norfolk Boreas and Norfolk Vanguard offshore wind farm projects to RWE, led by London Partner Martin Lucas.
