Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that a deal the firm advised on has won “Transport Deal of the Year” at The Asset Triple A Sustainable Infrastructure Awards 2023.
The award-winning deal involved WFW advising the Asian Development Bank (“ADB”) on a US$135m financing package for VinFast Trading and Production Limited Liability Company (“Vinfast”). This was a financing project to create Vietnam’s first fully electric public transport bus fleet and first national electric vehicle (EV) charging network. A cross-border WFW team based in Hanoi and Hong Kong acted as ADB’s international and local Vietnamese counsel.
