On 2 March 2023 Watson Farley & Williams held a breakfast talk on Green Ship Recycling in Hamburg.
In the breakfast seminar, Dr Maximilian Boemke and Dr Clemens Hillmer gave an overview of the legal framework for ship recycling. We were pleased to have Henning Gramann (GSR Services GmbH) and Simeon Hiertz (Leviathan GmbH) as speakers. Mr Gramann gave an insight into the planning and supervision of ship recycling. Mr Hiertz presented the setup of the first zero-emission recycling plant in Germany.
