Join Watson Farley & Williams and NERA Economic Consulting for our webinar on ‘Germany’s Latest Offshore Wind Auction – A Sign of Things to Come? Legal and Economic Perspectives’ on 30 September.

Offshore wind power generation has developed into a rapidly growing industry in recent years. Based on the German Offshore Wind Energy Act, which aims to increase the installed capacity of offshore wind turbines to a total of 20 gigawatts by 2030, the first auction to determine the remuneration for offshore wind projects in the ‘central system’ has now taken place.

In this webinar WFW Regulatory Partner Dr Christine Bader and NERA’s Associate Director, Dominik Huebler, will present:

  • This Year’s Auction – Rules and Results
  • An International Comparison
  • Implications for German Offshore Wind – M&A
  • Implications for German Offshore Wind – Regulation

The session will be moderated by WFW Regulatory Partner Dr Maximilian Boemke. Following the presentation part, there will be the option to put your questions to our experts.

We kindly ask you to register your interest in attending by registering via the ‘Register your interest’ button or by emailing events_germany@wfw.com. We look forward to welcoming you.
