Alessandro is a Senior Associate in the Aviation group.
Alessandro assists air carriers in an array of matters relating to aviation law, and corporate and commercial law.
His services cover drafting legal opinions and court briefs, as well as representation in court. He also negotiates, drafts and reviews aircraft lease agreements (dry, wet and financial), in addition to several commercial contracts at national and international levels.
He has been involved in corporate merger and acquisition projects and has assisted clients in a number of international transactions in the food manufacturing, information technology, and medical device industries. Additionally, Alessandro has developed significant experience in the day-to-day corporate management.
In addition to Italian, Alessandro speaks English.
- Advised Banco BPM, as lender, agent, arranger and hedging bank on a €25m loan granted to the Italian airline SkyAlps to finance the purchase and line-up of eight turboprop aircraft.
- Successfully represented Società Esercizio Aeroporto Maremma (SEAM) before the Regional Administrative Court of Tuscany on an appeal to recognise the unlawfulness of the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the Ministry of Defence’s failure to respond to SEAM’s application for the concession of the management of Grosseto airport.
- Advised Ryanair in its successful appeal against the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport’s Decree No. 2/2020, which had imposed Public Service Obligations on scheduled air services to and from Trapani airport to guarantee territorial continuity, as well as against the subsequent procedures for assigning traffic rights, on an exclusive basis and with compensation, to the competitor carriers TayaranJet Jet and AlbaStar.

Alessandro è un Senior Associate del dipartimento Aviation.
Alessandro fornisce consulenza a vettori aerei in numerose questioni di diritto dell’aviazione, diritto commerciale e societario.
Si occupa della stesura di pareri e atti giudiziari, nonché dell’attività di difesa e rappresentanza in giudizio. Si occupa inoltre della negoziazione, stesura e revisione di contratti di locazione, noleggio e locazione finanziaria di aeromobili, oltre che di contratti commerciali a livello nazionale ed internazionale.
Ha partecipato a progetti di fusione e acquisizione societaria nonché alla finalizzazione di diversi tipi di contratti per società che operano nelle industrie alimentari, dell’information technology e dei dispositivi medici. Ha altresì maturato significativa esperienza nel day-to-day corporate management.
Oltre all’italiano, Alessandro parla inglese.
- Assistenza a Banco BPM, in qualità di banca finanziatrice, banca agente, arranger e banca hedging, in un finanziamento da €25 milioni finalizzato a sostenere i costi di acquisizione e messa in linea di otto aeromobili turboelica da parte di SkyAlps, compagnia aerea con base a Bolzano, controllata dal gruppo FRI-EL Green Power.
- Assistenza a SEAM - Società Esercizio Aeroporto Maremma nell’accoglimento dal TAR Toscana del ricorso promosso dalla società per l’accertamento dell’illegittimità del silenzio serbato dal Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Trasporti, dal Ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze e dal Ministero della Difesa, sull’istanza di concessione per la gestione totale dell’aeroporto di Grosseto, pendente dal 1998 e reiterata con un atto di sollecito del 22 giugno 2022.
- Assistenza con successo alla compagnia aerea Ryanair nell’impugnazione del Decreto Ministeriale n. 2/2020 che aveva imposto oneri di servizio pubblico per garantire la continuità territoriale da e per l’aeroporto di Trapani, nonché delle conseguenti procedure di affidamento dei collegamenti aerei, in esclusiva e con compensazione, ad altri vettori aerei (TayaranJet Jet e AlbaStar).
