Chris is an associate in the Financial Markets & Products Group.
Chris specialises in capital markets and has experience advising clients on note issuances across the firm’s shipping, aviation, energy and infrastructure sectors. Chris also has experience in insolvency, restructuring and derivatives.
Chris joined WFW as a trainee in 2020 and qualified in 2022. He has also worked in the firm’s Hamburg and Athens offices.
- Advising ICA İçtaş on the US$405m secured notes to finance the construction and operation of the Sarıyer-Kilyos motorway tunnel project in Istanbul, Türkiye.
- Advising Sonnedix on an innovative €500m facility to finance the construction of its renewable development pipeline in Europe and the UK.
- Advising Warba Bank on a private placement sukuk to finance the construction of a 174,000cbm LNG carrier for Norway’s Knutsen Group.
- Advising Tor Boreas Ltd. on the senior and junior bond financing of a windfarm support vessel, with the bonds listed on The International Stock Exchange.
- Advising Chaarat Gold Holdings Limited on the US$19.8m recapitalisation of its existing convertible loan notes and the provision of a new loan notes for working capital.
- Advising Air Seychelles on restructuring negotiations relating to its participation and obligations under a securitisation of loans to various Etihad Alliance partner airlines with an aggregate value of US$1.2bn.
- Advising on four shipping bonds to finance the delivery of LNG tankers in Korea.
- Advising Piraeus Bank S.A. on a US$16.85m sustainability-linked loan to a subsidiary of the Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp.
- Advising NIBC Bank on the sale of its offshore energy portfolio to an undisclosed buyer. The entire portfolio was originally valued at €1.5bn and comprises assets across Europe and the US.
