Cosmo is an associate in the London Projects group.
Cosmo specialises in banking and project finance transactions in the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors, acting for banks, financial institutions, borrowers and developers. He also has construction experience.
Since joining the firm, Cosmo has spent time working in the firm’s London and Paris offices.
- Advising Mauritius Commercial Bank as agent and lender on an up to US$110m reserve-based lending facility and an up to US$30m working capital facility granted to Afentra Ltd for the acquisition from INA-Industrija d.d. of 4% interests in Block 3/05 and Block 3/05A offshore Angola in the Lower Congo Basin. This acquisition marks Afentra’s entry into Angola, one of the most dynamic and expanding markets in Africa.
- Advising Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group on the sale of its 170 MW onshore windfarm portfolio held by Nordic Renewable Power Holding – consisting of the 80 MW Buheii and 47 MW Tysvaer projects in Norway and the 43 MW Hornamossen project in Sweden –to Vauban Infrastructure Partners.
- Advised Société Générale on the project financing of the 88 MW Puskakorpi onshore wind farm in western Finland’s Northern Ostrobothnia region.
- Advised Sequoia as secured creditor regarding the energy administration of Bulb, in the first ever use of the UK’s energy supply company administration regime.
