Emily is an Associate in the Projects Group in London.

Emily advises on the development and construction aspects of energy and infrastructure projects. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at an international law firm in Australia with particular focus on mining and joint venture arrangements, project development, transaction structuring and regulatory compliance with environmental and heritage laws in the resources sector. She has also worked at an international consulting firm advising on the implementation of solar and battery solutions for developers, ASX-listed companies and government bodies.

  • Advised ASX-listed company on framework alliance agreement & related project documentation relating to the installation of solar and battery energy storage systems and the provision of frequency control ancillary services.
  • Advised Danish investment firm on recommended project delivery model for procurement and construction of pumped hydro storage system in Australia.
  • Advising on various transaction structuring options for ASX-listed mining company including in respect of the sell-down of a 100% owned asset and preparing related bid transaction documentation.
  • Advised ASX-listed mining company (including by completing a 3-month secondment) in relation to review of compliance with legislative, contractual agreements and internal governance systems relating to its heritage management and mining operations.
