Gabrielle is an Associate in the Assets & Structured Finance Group.

Gabrielle has experience in asset finance matters in the maritime sector and has worked with leading financial institutions on a range of cross-border transactions, including bank financings for acquisition of vessels and sale-and-leaseback transactions.

She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

  • Advising CITIC Financial Leasing on a US$700m operating lease involving three 7000CEU dual-fuel Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs), three 8600CEU dual-fuel PCTCs and four 7200DWT General Cargo Carriers (GCCs). This transaction was awarded the "Best Leasing Deal in the East" by Marine Money in 2022.
  • Advising China Merchants Financial Leasing on the novation and amendment of the existing bareboat charter of a drilling rig and the subsequent buyback of the rig by Saipem, a global leader in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Advising CMB Financial Leasing on a US$500 million sale and leaseback transaction involving 10 tankers with a top league Norwegian shipowner.
  • Advising a syndicate of lenders on a senior secured term loan facility of up to about US$313m to a shipowner for financing the group’s acquisition of two LNG carriers.
  • Advising a syndicate of lenders on a sustainability-linked secured term loan facility of up to US$100m to a shipowner for financing its acquisition of a newbuilding container vessel.
