Georgia Mathiopoulou
Senior Associate Athens
Georgia is a Senior Associate in the Project & Structured Finance Group.
She focuses on banking, finance and capital markets law. She has significant experience in financing and restructuring projects, such as project finance and real estate financings, acting for domestic and international clients. She has also been involved in securitisations and other structured finance transactions. She regularly advises credit and financial institutions with respect to regulatory issues.
Her recent work includes property development, infrastructure and energy transactions.
She joined the firm in July 2021. Before joining WFW, she worked for a number of Greece’s top-tier law firms.
