James is an Associate in the Maritime and Dispute Resolution groups.

A newly-qualified Associate, James’ training at a leading maritime firm in both London and Dubai means that he already has a wide range of experience in contentious and non-contentious shipping matters.

He assists in advising clients across the maritime industry, including shipowners, charterers, and bunkers suppliers and traders. James’ contentious matter experience to date includes assisting on high-value UK and Singapore-based arbitrations regarding charterparty and bunkers quality disputes and advising on charterparty disputes relating to late redelivery and demurrage.

James also has experience acting for both buyers and sellers on the sale and purchase of commercial vessels registered under various flags.
