Kanyapat is a Senior Associate in the Corporate group.
Her experience includes advising clients in the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors in relation to asset and project financing, foreign direct investment, regulatory compliance, data privacy and competition law, as well as and other corporate and commercial matters.
Kanyapat graduated from University of College London with an LLB degree in 2013, before obtaining her LLM degree in 2014. She has previously worked inhouse at a global tech company and in the public sector at Thailand’s Office of the Council of State.
- Advising a renewable energy developer on M&A matters and engineering, procurement and construction contracts.
- Advising a foreign airport operator in relation to the participation in the Thai government’s Public-Private Partnership project.
- Advising foreign aircraft leasing companies and financial institutions and issuing Thai law opinions on issues regarding novation, security and aircraft repossession in relation to the refinancing and purchase of aircraft.
- Advising a ride-hailing platform on the compliance with the Digital Platform Service Royal Decree and product feature reviews.
- Advising global travel platforms on product feature reviews and Thai regulatory matters.
- Advising a UK university in relation to the development of a medical research facility in Thailand.
