Maria Charontaki

Maria is a Senior Knowledge Lawyer in the Projects & Structured Finance Group.
Maria joined Watson Farley & Williams in 2018 after working for law firms specialising in energy law. She has a longstanding experience in the energy sector advising clients on domestic and cross-border transactions with an emphasis on the regulatory aspects of renewable projects. She has been involved in complex due diligence reviews for multiple projects and provided counsel to clients throughout all stages of project development. Maria has been advising energy companies on the structural legislative reforms of the energy sector in Greece.
Maria has a BA in Law and Economics and an LL.M. in Law specialising in Intellectual Property Law and International Economic Law from Queen Mary University of London as well as a Law degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Maria now holds a Knowledge Management role in the PSF Group aiming to promote the firm’s know-how and expertise.
