Pavlos Maris

Pavlos is a Senior Associate in the Assets & Structured Finance Group.

Pavlos represents international banks, financial institutions and shipping companies on all aspects of lending into the shipping market. He has advised on restructurings and sales of loan portfolios, as well as the sale and purchase of newbuilt and second-hand vessels.

Pavlos also practices across a broad range of other corporate and commercial matters such as mergers and acquisitions, project and real estate finance, the regulation of banks and financial services institutions, technology agreements and GDPR.

Prior to joining Watson Farley & Williams, Pavlos worked as an Associate with international law firms in Athens and Hamburg, as a Vice President with a leading international bank in Switzerland, as Senior Legal Counsel with an international investment bank in London and as a Corporate Legal Counsel with a tech company in London.

Pavlos is qualified in Greece and in England and Wales.
