Susanne Kirkeby Eieland

Susanne is an Associate in the New York Office.

Susanne’s practice focuses on cross-border asset-based finance transactions and US trade sanctions.

She advises lenders, owners and operators on loan documentation, financing and operating leases, sale and purchase of ships, aircrafts and engines and other securitisation transactions. She also advises clients in understanding and complying with the rules and regulations of the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Susanne is qualified as an attorney in New York and Norway. Prior to joining Watson Farley & Williams, Susanne worked as a senior associate at a leading Norwegian law firm. She also worked as a regulatory expert at a leading Nordic universal bank.

Her native language is Norwegian and she is fluent in English.
