Sylvia is counsel in the firm’s dispute resolution group.

Sylvia has extensive experience in the maritime sector, and regularly advises clients on a full range of contractual and tortious disputes, in particular disputes arising out of charterparties, bills of lading, sale and purchase contracts, and agreements for special operation ships. She frequently represents shipowners, operators and charterers in international arbitrations.

Sylvia also possesses comprehensive knowledge and insights of the insurance industry, in particular marine insurance and aviation insurance.

On the financing side, Sylvia works closely with the Asset and Structured Finance team in conducting contract reviews and negotiations.

Sylvia is fluent in English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
