Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised a consortium of minority investors comprising Bpifrance Investissement (through its France Investissement Energie Environnement 2 fund), OCCTE (through its OCCTE OCCIGEN FPCI fund) and Enerfip on their investment in Opale Energies Engagées, a French developer of renewable energy projects.
This significant fundraising allows Opale Energies Engagées to accelerate the development of its projects and innovative solutions for the production and consumption of green energy, strengthening its ability to support national energy transition targets.

Based in the southwestern Occitanie region, OCCTE is an institutional player in the energy also dedicated to promoting energy transition in France. Enerfip is a European leader in the crowdfunding of renewable energy projects.
Founded in 2008, Opale Energies Engagées has 60 employees and is one of the pioneers in the development of innovative green energy projects in France.
