Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Homnia on the drafting of their standard development contract and lease templates for the development of inclusive residences.
Since 2013, social solidarity group Homnia has been bringing together local residents, NGOs, public authorities, businesses and local infrastructure companies to promote social inclusion by creating innovative and supportive living spaces across France. NGO “Le Club des Six”, Homnia’s co-founder, helps disabled adults looking for an individual and collective project, outside their family home or host institution. Homnia thus develops co-living housing adapted to the special needs of disabled adults, thereby promoting the social inclusion of some of the most vulnerable members of society.
The WFW Paris Real Estate team advising Homnia comprised Partner Cyrille Gogny-Goubert and Associate Kodou Diouf.
Cyrille commented: “We are honoured to have been able to assist Homnia in its mission to promote social inclusion by putting our legal expertise at the service of such an innovative social project encouraging the core human values of mutual aid and solidarity. We are also delighted to have been able to play a small role in promoting what is also a great entrepreneurial success”.
