Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised LE Erzin GES Energi A.Ş. (“LE Erzin”) on an approximately €23m financing of a 100MW/140MWp PV solar project in Hatay Erzin, Turkey by DZ Bank. The loan is governed by German law and backed by German ECA Euler Hermes.
LE Erzin is a subsidiary of Limak Holding A.Ş. (“Limak”), a fast-growing international company headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, active in several major sectors including energy, tourism, food, construction and infrastructure.
The WFW Hamburg Finance team that advised LE Erzin was led by Partner Stefan Kilgus, supported by Senior Associate Marlene Kowerk and Associate Helena Hopmann.
