Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Logista Italia S.p.A. (“Logista”) on the acquisition of Gramma Farmaceutici, a provider of logistics services to the Italian pharmaceutical industry.
This strategic acquisition marks the entry of Logista into Italy and further strengthens its position as a key European pharmaceuticals’ distributor. The company is already active in in Spain where, through subsidiary Logista Pharma, it manages relationships with 200+ pharmaceutical companies.
Gramma Farmaceutici ensures the efficient distribution of pharmaceuticals to wholesalers, hospitals and pharmacies across Italy.
The WFW Italy multidisciplinary team that advised Logista was led by Partner Carlo Cosmelli and Counsel Matteo Trabacchin on the contractual, corporate and commercial and due diligence aspects of the transaction, supported by Senior Associate Roberta Sturiale, Associates Sonia Basso and Dario Matrecano and Trainee Fabiola Francesca Longoni.
