Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Po Valley Energy Limited (“Po Valley”) on its agreement to supply an energy major with gas from its Podere Maiar-1 production plant in the Selva Malvezzi production concession. The deal has been announced by Po Valley on the Australian Securities Exchange.
Po Valley, which operates the concession in the interest of its partners UOG Italia Srl and PXOG Marshall Ltd (both part of the Prospex Energy plc group), will produce and supply approximately 37,000,000 standard cubic metres of gas from 1 April 2023 for the following 18 months.
Po Valley is an Australia-based gas producer with over 20 years’ experience and an expanding portfolio of natural gas fields in northern Italy.
WFW advised Po Valley, working in close cooperation with Po Valley’s board, on the drafting of the gas sale and other ancillary contracts and related negotiations with the buyer, its commercial relations with its the concession project partners and on various regulatory matters.
