Watson Farley & Williams has advised Rude Health Foods Limited (“Rude Health”), one of Britain’s best-known plant-based milk brands, on its sale to Finnish plant-based food and drink company Oddlygood.
Rude Health is a top five UK plant-based drinks brand widely available across major retailers and foodservice operators nationwide. It has also established a name for itself internationally with distribution across several other key European markets. Its range of dairy-free drinks, cereals and snacks are meticulously chosen for flavour, provenance, sustainability and health.
Oddlygood is a key player in the Nordic plant-based market, with a widely stocked range of plant-based alternatives to milk, cheese, desserts, cooking products and yoghurts. Launched in 2018, its expected annual turnover this year is approximately €50m.
The WFW London Corporate and M&A team that advised Rude Health was led by Partner Christina Howard, working alongside Senior Associate David Bath and Associates Alice Halpin and Megha Vijh, with contract advisory support from Senior Lawyer, Jemma Dhillon.
