Sonya is a distinguished legal expert with over two decades of experience, known for her strategic vision and exceptional client service.

Dual qualified in England & Wales and Ontario, Canada, Sonya has extensive expertise advising clients —from start-ups to well-established companies— on public and private cross-border M&A, joint ventures and project finance in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Her appointment enhances the firm’s core capabilities, aligning with WFW’s strategy of growth and excellence in these areas.
