WFW joins Smart Maritime Network2 September 2024

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that it has joined the Smart Maritime Network (“SMN”), an initiative dedicated to supporting and further promoting digital transformation across the shipping and transport sectors.

SMN’s goal is to provide a platform to promote the benefits of enhanced integration and data sharing among stakeholders within the maritime and transport logistics sectors, informing and educating the industry on technological developments and innovations while providing wider opportunities for relationship building and knowledge sharing.

Dubai Maritime Partner Natalie Jensen, a champion of the network, commented: “We are delighted to join the SMN. Helping promote integration and data sharing in the maritime sector is something we know WFW will be able to contribute to greatly”.

London Corporate Partner Damian Adams, who also played a key role in WFW’s decision to join the network, added: “Joining the SMN gives us the unique opportunity to collaborate with other members to address and ultimately solve key industry challenges surrounding digital transformation and technology innovation and adoption. We look forward to sharing our expertise and knowledge as well as hearing alternative perspectives”.
