International law firm Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to have been named “Law Firm of the Year – Shipping” by leading Italian legal news provider legalcommunity at their Finance Awards held in Milan on 2 March 2017.
The prize was accepted by WFW Partner Furio Samela and Senior Associate Michele Autuori in recognition of the WFW practice being “well-known by shipowners, the team has a wide international experience and is an absolute point of reference in this sector”. This is not the first time legalcommunity have recognised WFW’s shipping finance expertise, having named Furio “Ship Finance Lawyer of the Year” in 2016.
Furio, head of WFW’s Italian Banking and Finance Group which encompasses the maritime team, commented: “We’re honoured to have won this award.
