Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) is delighted to announce that project finance, energy and banking specialist Stamatis Kotsiras has joined the firm’s Project & Structured Finance (”PSF”) team in Athens as Of Counsel. Prior to joining WFW, Stamatis was Counsel for a large Greek law firm for four years and before that worked inhouse at financial institutions.
Stamatis specialises in the areas of project finance, energy and banking and finance and has extensive experience advising both lenders and borrowers on the structuring, documentation, and negotiation of complex secured financings in the energy, infrastructure and real estate sectors. He acts for both international and domestic clients, primarily financial institutions and large corporates.
