Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) supported Avolon on its recent agreement for the order of 100 A321neo aircraft from Airbus. The aircraft are scheduled for delivery out to 2032.
This year, Avolon has added 200 new technology aircraft to its orderbook direct from OEMs, building on a previous order for 20 Airbus A330neo aircraft in September, which WFW also supported on.
The A320neo family of aircraft reduce fuel use and carbon emissions by up to 20% compared to the older generation aircraft that they will replace.
Avolon is an Irish-based, leading global aviation finance company with a focus on maintaining a fleet of young, fuel-efficient aircraft.
