Located in the south of Italy, the plants produce of approximately 50 GW of energy a year.
The initial pipeline includes 18 photovoltaic projects under development in Sardinia, with a total capacity of approximately 83 MW.
WFW was recognised for its strong international network and as a market leader in the Iberian Peninsula for advising leading energy funds, notably on M&A and project financing transactions.
The project is being developed by OW, a joint venture between Engie and EDP Renewables.
This is one of the first four pilot floating offshore wind farms under development in France.
Under the PPA, the power supply is expected to commence in 2024 and run until the end of 2033.
