Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised long-standing client BEE Development GmbH, a subsidiary of Blue Elephant Energy AG (“BEE”), on its acquisition of a ground-mounted photovoltaic project from BEE Craco Srl.
The 20 MW project is located in Craco municipality, Matera province, in Italy’s southern Basilicata region.
WFW advised on all Italian law matters relating to the acquisition documents and completion of the transaction, including the share purchase and shareholders agreements.
Hamburg-based BEE develops, acquires and operates renewable energy projects, most notably in the wind and solar sectors. Its current portfolio has a combined global capacity of 1.100+ MW, including 60+ MW in Italy.
