Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Belenergia on the sale of 65% equity interest in seven special purpose vehicles that own 18 photovoltaic facilities, with an overall installed capacity of circa 20 MW to ACEA Spa. The plants are eligible for Conto Energia incentives.
Belenergia is one of the main players in the European renewable energy sector, including solar, wind and biomass.
Listed on the Italian Stock Exchange since 1999, ACEA Spa is a leading multi-utility company active in the management and development of networks and services in the water, energy and environmental sectors.
