Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Principia SGR S.p.A. on its investment in CrestOptics S.p.A. through a €5m+ share capital increase subscription.
The investment was made through its Principia III-Health Fund, which will hold a qualified shareholding in CrestOptics’ capital.
Principia SGR is a leading asset management company, specialising in closed-end funds for venture and growth capital, and investing in innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), high tech and start-ups based on new scientific research.
CrestOptics S.p.A. is an Italian headquartered developer and manufacturer of confocal and super-resolution scanners for optical microscopes.
