Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Terna Forward S.r.l. (“Terna Forward”) on its completion of a €2.8m round of investment into Wesii S.r.l. (“Wesii”) through a joint capital increase with DXT Commodities, a Duferco Group company. The transaction has been cleared by the European Commission under the EU Merger Regulation.

Wesii is a market-leading Italian SME specialising in the provision of inspection and remote-sensing services for the renewable energy sector, combining aircraft and drones with AI systems.
The WFW Italy Energy team that advised Terna Forward on the legal due diligence, contractual, regulatory, governance and competition aspects of the transaction was led by Corporate Partner Luca Sfrecola, assisted by Senior Associate Michele Laterza and Associates Sonia Basso and Cecilia Pignati, working closely with Terna’s in-house legal team.
