Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) has advised Ultramar Caffè Srl (“Ultramar Caffè”) shareholders and Ultramar Invest (“Ultramar”) on the sale of a majority stake in Ultramar Caffè to La Natura Lifestyle International Holding AG (“La Natura”), a European leader in the food-tech sector and in the production and distribution of coffee and tea capsules. The acquisition was structured as both a share transfer and equity investment.
Ultramar Caffè is a leading Italian producer of coffee and drinks capsules that also produces ground coffee at its in-house roasting plant. Operating in over 46 countries worldwide, it is part of the Ultramar Invest Group owned by the historic Montanari and Nava families.
