On 25 November 2024, the Clearingstelle EEG (Clearing-Agency for the Renewable Energy Sources Act) published a recommendation that operators of solar installations in Germany who claim the full feed-in tariff (Volleinspeisevergütung) should report their planned full feed-in for 2025 to their grid operator by 30 November 2024 at the latest. This is because it is currently unclear whether notification by 1 December is a necessary condition for entitlement to the increased remuneration for full feed-in in 2025. To be on the safe side, affected plant operators should therefore act without delay and submit the notification by 30 November 2024. This update explains who exactly is affected by the regulation and what needs to be done by affected operators.
