Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised Encavis Asset Management AG (“EAM”) on the sale of a 93 MW European renewable energy portfolio to an institutional investor. The portfolio comprises a total of nine wind parks in Germany, France, Sweden and the UK with a total capacity of 76 MW, as well as two solar parks in France and Italy with a total capacity of 17 MW.
EAM, a wholly owned subsidiary of MDAX-listed wind and solar park operator Encavis AG, offers institutional investors the opportunity to invest in the growing renewable energies market via portfolios and fund solutions across the entire value chain, from asset sourcing to their operational management.
Led by the Hamburg office, a multidisciplinary, international WFW team in Germany, France, Italy and the UK advised the client on all relevant legal matters from due diligence to negotiating the SPAs.
