WFW advises lenders on AGIR à dom financing19 September 2023

Watson Farley & Williams (“WFW”) advised a syndicate of banks comprising Crédit Agricole Sud Rhône Alpes, acting as arranger and lender, and Crédit Agricole Languedoc, Société Générale and La Banque Postale as lenders, on the financing granted for the development of group AGIR à dom, the leading association for home healthcare in France.

Alongside a minority primary investment led by three other Crédit Agricole Group entities (IDIA Capital Investissement, Crédit Agricole Alpes Développement and Sofilaro), this financing allows AGIR à dom to strengthen its regional network and pursue the digital transformation of its business.

Founded in 1974, the A.G.I.R association consolidated its healthcare activities into AGIR à dom in 2010. AGIR à dom assists approximatively 40,000 patients at home across the south of France each year. It had over 500 employees and a turnover of €60m+ in 2022.

The WFW Paris team that advised the lenders was led by Finance Partner Philippe Wolanski, assisted by Associates Valentine Andaloro and Pauline Deforges on the financing aspects of the transaction. Counsel Guillaume Pouyet and Associates Mohamed Douib and Thibaut de Toytot assisted on corporate matters.

A team from NCA (Notaires Conseils Associés) led by Gessyca Nicklin advised AGIR à dom on the financial aspects of the deal.
